Plant a tree to stop global warming, global action is looking for Partners Globally

Plant a tree to stop global warming, global action
New 2011 international initiative with a goal to plant 1.1 billion trees this year is looking for Partners Globally from all fields of life: Business, Government, Nonprofits, Churches, Sports, Culture, Science, Health, Arts, etc. organizations, also individuals: governors, mayors, local leaders, police, military personnel, as well as local residents, volunteers and youth clubs are more than welcome to partner.  Partners who will plant trees by their homes, parks, schools, urban areas, rural areas, farms or national forests etc.
Planting trees is a simple thing everyone can do to reduce carbon dioxide, a principal greenhouse gas that contributes to global warming. No matter where you live, you can plant trees and take a proactive, positive step toward keeping our planet healthy. As trees grow they absorb carbon dioxide (CO2), the main 'greenhouse gas' responsible for global warming, thereby reducing the concentration of this gas in the atmosphere. Planting trees can help much in reducing global warming than any other method.
Plant a tree is the best from any perspective: - science, planting trees is hugely beneficial to the world in the face of accelerating climate change. There is now a strong international scientific consensus that human activity is causing global warming.
- At a local level, tree-planting on deforested lands creates further environmental benefits. Forests play a vital role in regulating water supplies, helping to minimize both water shortages in times of drought and damaging floods in heavy rains.
-Socio-economic benefits of reforestation projects include direct employment, infrastructure development, skills-transfer and the creation of markets for related products and services.
- Religion: John 14:23 Jesus: “Anyone who loves me will obey my teaching. My Father will love them, and we will come to them and make our home with them. “
“The three greatest challenges of modern society are solving pollution problems, creating a consciousness for protecting the environment, and increasing food production. If any one of these is neglected, humanity will become extinct. “, “Religious people must lead the way in the effort to save nature. Nature is God’s creation and His gift to humankind. We must work quickly to awaken people to the preciousness of nature and the urgent need to restore it to the rich and free state it enjoyed at the time of Creation.” Sun Myung Moon
